The sound of the waves spending their wind-powered impetus against the immutable volcanic shoreline is too far away to hear above the breeze in your ears.

Like a timeless pantomime, the drawing away, gathering and mounting up for the next in an endless number of smashing assaults on the wild trackless coasts, is not unllike the Zen of one hand clapping or a tree falling alone in the forest.
