Insect eyes would help us understand why this scrumptious display is irresistible not only to pollinators, but it also triggers a primal response among humans. Isn't this an odd symbiosis? Flowers themselves are generally not found on the human diet. We don't get a basic survival substance from them like we do from cereal grains and yet for many species of flowers, we humans are at least as significant an agent for their procreation and proliferation as their natural pollinators. Is it just my imagination or do you smell like a conspiracy here?
